Why buy a projector from Kalibrate?
1. We don’t shift boxes of projectors. We want our customers to buy the best projector for their situation. To do this we test and evaluate each model of the projectors we sell.
2. By having a demo room with different projectors, we can evaluate the projectors over time, as firmware, and calibration practices improve.
3. We calibrate the demo models fully with over £20,000 worth of calibration equipment (including a spectroradiometer compatible with laser light sources), with each calibration taking many hours. (Please note, calibrate is a word that is often used within the display industry, but not everyone uses the word correctly, using a setup disc, is not a calibration).
4. We offer to test, and calibrate each projector we sell for a fee. Whilst this is not as good as calibrating in situ, it will certainly be more accurate than the presets within the projector out of the box.
5. We can create custom HDR modes. HDR was never really designed for projectors, and as they only offer a small proportion of the HDR capability, we work to create custom HDR modes to make the most from the compatibility, includes custom curves etc.
6. All our projectors are sourced via official UK channels (manufacturer/distributor) meaning that they come with full UK warranties.
7. We have experience with a lot of different samples of the projector (take a look at our Instagram and Twitter feed to see some of the units we have tested/installed/calibrated, for end users and other installers a like.
